Privacy Policy
Moodot is designed to keep the core journaling experience simple and local-first. Your daily entries and settings are stored on your device. If you choose to connect a cloud account, selected data may also be synced securely with Firebase to restore your journal across devices.
What we collect
- Daily mood entries you create, including selected color and optional note.
- App preferences such as palette selection and reminders.
- Optional cloud account information if you enable cloud sync.
How data is used
- To save and display your mood journal inside the app.
- To sync your journal across devices if you enable cloud backup.
- To support account connection, reminders, and export features.
Third-party services
- Firebase for authentication and optional cloud sync.
- Apple and Google platform services for sign-in and device-level services.
Your choices
- You can use the core app without creating an account.
- You can disable reminders in the app settings.
- You can disconnect cloud sync at any time.
- You can request cloud account deletion from within the app.
Children's privacy
Moodot is not intended for children under 13. If you believe personal data was provided by a child, contact support and we will review the request.
Policy updates
This page may be updated from time to time to reflect product or legal changes. Continued use of Moodot after updates means the revised policy applies.
